The best-selling new car models in Turkey in September have been determined. Togg T10X is at the top, while sales figures for Renault and other brands have been announced.
While the activity in the Turkish car market continued in September, the best-selling new car models in our country became clear with the information shared by car journalist Emre Özpeynirci. Looking at the sales figures in September, the domestic car manufacturer Togg’s T10X model took the top spot with a sales performance of 4,237 units. In second place was the Renault Austral with 3,220 units, while the Renault Megane Sedan followed with 2,830 units.
In this period of intense competition in the market, the dominance of domestically produced vehicles in the sales lists is particularly noteworthy. Current market dynamics influencing consumer preferences reveal the changing trends in the automotive sector at the end of the third quarter of the year.
Leadership Changes in the New Car Market
The monthly changes in the Turkish car market directly reflect the sales strategies of brands and consumer trends. Although the Togg T10X was again at the top of the list in August, significant movement was observed in the following models.
The September data shows that Renault, in particular, has reinforced its strong position in the overall market. The inclusion of models such as the Renault Austral, Megane Sedan, Duster, and Clio in the list proves that the brand appeals to a wide range of users.
This information from the sector shows not only the sales figures but also the increasing interest of users in new generation technologies and electric vehicles. In particular, Togg’s high rankings with both its T10X and T10F models are interpreted as increasing the burden of domestic production in the car market.
Competition in the Sector Continues Unabated
When comparing the data for July, August, and September, it is seen that the dynamics of the market are constantly changing. The process, which started with the leadership of the Renault Austral in July, took on a different dimension with the rise of Togg in August and September.
During this period, it is noteworthy that classic models such as the Toyota Corolla and Hyundai i20 maintained their stable sales graphs. However, the increase in the market share of electric and hybrid options reveals how rapidly the transformation in the automotive world is taking place.
The solidification of the position of globally recognized electric vehicles such as the Tesla Model Y in the Turkish market signals that competition will intensify even further in the coming months. The continued presence of SUV segment representatives such as the Kia Sportage on the lists shows that consumer interest in high-riding vehicles continues.
