While interest in electric vehicles in the Turkish car market continues to increase day by day, the September data revealed the latest situation in the sector. In the list of the best-selling new electric car models in Turkey in September, the success of the domestically produced Togg reached a remarkable level.
Togg maintained its sales leadership with both the T10X and T10F models, while the demand for electric vehicles in the overall market continued its steady rise. The list, which includes global giants like Tesla and Kia, analyzes that consumer preferences are diversifying and belief in electric mobility is strengthening.
Togg Models Maintain Their Top Position
When the data in the automotive sector is examined, Togg’s T10X model maintained its title as the most preferred electric vehicle of the month with a sales performance of 4,237 units.
In second place on the list is the T10F with 2,455 units sold. This success of the domestic brand is valued as a significant milestone in Türkiye’s electric vehicle transformation. Consumers are choosing Togg because they appreciate the advantages of affordable prices, a wide service network, and domestic production.
Tesla and Other Global Brands Increase Market Share
In third place on the list is the Tesla Model Y with 1,725 units sold. Compared to the summer months, it is noteworthy that Tesla has gained significant momentum in its sales graph.
Kia, on the other hand, reinforced its position in the electric vehicle market with a total sales success of 1,288 units with its EV2 and EV3 models. On the Volvo side, the EX30 and EX40 models managed to attract attention with a total sales of 984 units.
Market Data Reflects Changing Consumer Trends
Compared to August and July, September shows a rapid shift in market dynamics. In August, the Togg T10X topped the list with 2,939 units, while models like the KG Mobility Torres were also among the top performers.
In September, the inclusion of premium and new segment vehicles such as the Mercedes-Benz GLC EV and the Skoda Elroq in the top ten shows that consumers are diversifying their electric vehicle preferences according to different needs. In particular, the entry of the Skoda Elroq with 343 units reveals the market’s openness to new models.
