The Infinix Smart 20E leak has revealed the design and technical specifications of the new phone. Here are the details of the new entry-level model with a 120Hz screen.
With the leak of the Infinix Smart 20E, the design details and technical specifications of the new entry-level smartphone have come to light. Developed as a complement to the Smart 20 model, which was released in March, the device largely retains the design language of the series.
The device has confirmed its technical details by being listed with the model number X6843 in FCC certification records. This new model is expected to be in the budget-friendly segment.
Design and Screen Specifications
The Smart 20E has almost the same design as the existing Infinix Smart 20 model visually. The device will be offered to consumers in four different color options.
On the screen side, there is a 6.78-inch LCD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. The device’s support for 4G connectivity technology is a valuable detail, confirming its position in the affordable segment.
The hardware components appear to be optimized to meet entry-level expectations. In terms of physical dimensions, the phone weighs 187 grams and is 8.25 mm thick.
Technical Details and Hardware
On the hardware side, it is expected to use either a Unisoc or MediaTek Helio chipset. The device is supported by LPDDR4X RAM and eMMC 5.1 storage units.
Users will be able to choose between 4GB or 6GB RAM options, and both versions will have 128GB of storage. The battery capacity is set at 5,100 mAh, and the device offers 10W wired charging support.
The Infinix Smart 20E will run on the Android-based XOS interface. Connectivity features include Bluetooth 5.2 and NFC support, while a single mono speaker is used for audio output.
The device is said to have an IP64 certification, providing protection against dust and splashes. Compared to the Smart 20, the Smart 20E model has a slightly smaller battery and a slower charging speed.
It is also noteworthy that the device has a slightly thicker body structure than its predecessor. These technical differences strengthen the possibility that the model may be offered for sale at a more affordable price than the brand new Smart 20.
It is not yet clear when Infinix will officially introduce this new device or in which markets it will be sold. Details about the release date and pricing of the device will become clear in the coming period.
