The Insurance and Private Pension Regulation and Supervision Authority (SEDDK) has taken a valuable step to make it easier for citizens to access information about their insurance processes. Within this scope, the insurance tracking service via e-Government has been expanded, and new features have been activated for users.

In a statement made by the Authority, it was announced that the second phase of the “My Private Insurances” service has been successfully completed. With these updates, the digital infrastructure for insurance processes has been made more comprehensive.

Digital Access to Damage and Accident Information

With the new phase, insured individuals now have the opportunity to access all the details of the process digitally after experiencing a damage. In particular, reports prepared by experts , accident reports, and fault percentages in accidents can now be reviewed via e-Government.

This innovation eliminates the need to apply to different channels to access the documents required in damage claims processes. Citizens can transparently track their processes with insurance companies through a single platform.

The system covers not only current damage documents but also historical data. Insured individuals can view the details of their current policies as well as their past policies through the system.

This expanded service aims to make the data flow between insurance branches more systematic. Users can collect all their past data related to different types of insurance on a single screen, making it easier to manage their insurance history.

Ease of Policy Renewal Processes

Another valuable feature added to the platform is renewal alerts that facilitate the tracking of policy expiration dates. When the insurance renewal time approaches, users will be informed via e-Government.

This alert system aims to reduce the risk of being uninsured by facilitating the tracking of policy expiration dates. Users will be able to quickly complete the necessary processes by tracking their policies that are due for renewal in a timely manner.

In addition to SEDDK, the Cyber Security Presidency and the Insurance Information and Supervision Center (SBM) also played an active role in the development process of the project. The main goal of the study was explained as enabling citizens to access insurance applications more quickly, up-to-date, and comprehensively.

In line with its digitalization vision, the institution continues to reduce bureaucratic processes in the insurance sector. Enabling citizens to manage their insurance processes digitally saves time and speeds up access to information.

Do you think these new insurance tracking features offered through e-Government will make managing your insurance processes easier?
