Artificial Intelligence Play from Google to Apple: Gemini Intelligence

Artificial Intelligence Play from Google to Apple: Gemini Intelligence

Google announced its new artificial intelligence package Gemini Intelligence. Here are the details of these new features coming before Apple’s preparations for WWDC 2026.

Google announced its new artificial intelligence package Gemini Intelligence at the event it held on May 12, 2026. This move is notable because it comes just a month before Apple’s WWDC 2026 event, which starts on June 8.

Gemini Intelligence offers five different features that aim to change the user experience. These features include Chrome tools that make web searches easier and personal assistant capabilities that speed up form filling processes.

New Features Offered by Gemini Intelligence

The newly announced Rambler feature edits users’ voice messages and turns them into texts free of unnecessary expressions. This system, integrated into the Gboard keyboard, aims to translate spoken language into more professional written texts.

The Create My Widget feature allows users to create customized widgets according to their needs. In this way, users can design widgets that only display certain data, such as the weather forecast or food list.

Multi-application automation, the most ambitious part of the system, enables Gemini to make appointments or travel plans on behalf of the user. Users can directly ask Gemini to create a shopping cart using a shopping list in the notes app.

Google states that these features will initially only be available on the latest Pixel and Samsung Galaxy devices. In the future, it is planned to expand this technology to different platforms such as watches, automobiles and laptops.

Past Experiences and Future Expectations

The discontinuation of projects such as Google Now and Google Duplex, which Google has offered in the past, raises questions about the permanence of new features. Although the company successfully maintains some features such as Hold for Me and Call Screen, some innovations take time to be adopted by users.

On the Apple side, details of Apple Intelligence and the updated Siri are expected to be shared at the WWDC 2026 event to be held on June 8. Personal assistant features that Apple has previously announced but not yet offered automation capabilities similar to Gemini Intelligence.

Both technology giants are preparing to welcome users with impressive demos. However, how long and how often these features will be used in daily life will become clear in the coming months.

Do you think these new artificial intelligence features offered by Google and Apple can really change our daily usage habits?
