Xiaomi continues to expand its product range in the portable charging device market. The company has introduced two new 20,000 mAh capacity powerbank models that comply with the new safety standards implemented in China.

The new devices have been launched under the names Xiaomi Power Bank 20000 67W with Built-in Cable and Xiaomi Power Bank 20000 45W with Built-in Cable. These models stand out for offering higher charging performance compared to previous generation products.

67W and 45W fast charging support

The new powerbank models provide users with a maximum output power of 67W and 45W respectively. Considering that the previous 20,000 mAh model remained at 22.5W, this increase offers a significant performance improvement.

Thanks to the increased power capacity, the devices can charge smartphones, tablets, and compatible laptops faster. Both models come with a built-in USB-C cable, which also functions as a carrying strap when not in use.

The devices also feature one USB-C and one USB-A port. This design allows users to charge a total of three different devices simultaneously. The 67W model has a display showing the remaining battery status, while the 45W model uses a classic four-LED indicator. Users can monitor battery health via a web application that runs on a computer or laptop.

Safety Standards and Pricing

Xiaomi’s new models meet the strict safety requirements that will become mandatory in China in 2026. In this context, the products have undergone comprehensive safety tests, including a needle puncture test that measures the battery’s resistance to punctures.

The new power bank models are currently available in the Chinese market. The 67W model is priced at 599 yuan, approximately $89, while the 45W model is available for 499 yuan, approximately $74. The company has not yet announced when these products will be available in markets outside of China.
