Tesla announced the opening of a new Tesla Supercharger Trabzon station in Trabzon as part of its charging network expansion efforts in Turkey. In a statement made via the company’s official X account, it was stated that the new station will be a valuable stop for electric vehicle users in the Black Sea region.

The new station is located at 46 Devlet Sahil Yolu Caddesi in the Ortahisar district of Trabzon. This location aims to facilitate fast charging access for electric vehicle owners in the region during their long journeys.

A New Era of Tesla Superchargers in Trabzon

The new facility has a total of 8 different charging units providing up to 250 kW of power output. These high-capacity units allow compatible electric vehicles to be charged to a high degree in a short time.

According to the technical details shared by Tesla, the station’s construction was completed on October 2, 2026. These 250 kW units have brought Tesla’s global standard fast charging technology to Trabzon.

This new location in the Ortahisar region stands out as part of Tesla’s strategy to strengthen its charging infrastructure throughout Turkey. The company continues to create charging points in strategic locations to offer its users a seamless driving experience.

The Importance of Fast Charging for Electric Vehicles

For electric vehicle users, charging speed plays a critical role, especially in intercity travel. 250 kW units minimize waiting times, allowing users to continue their journeys faster.

This station, opened in Trabzon, fills a valuable gap in the transportation axis along the Black Sea coastal road. Electric vehicle owners in the region can now travel more efficiently thanks to the Supercharger network, which has a wider coverage area.

Tesla’s charging network in Türkiye serves not only Tesla vehicles but also other electric vehicle models that meet its charging standards. This is considered a factor contributing to the development of the overall electric vehicle ecosystem in the region.

The address information shared by the company allows users to easily reach the station via navigation systems. This new investment in Trabzon is one of the infrastructure projects that promote the use of electric vehicles in daily life.

It is expected that other charging stations planned by Tesla throughout Turkey will also be put into service with similar standards. How do you evaluate the impact of this new station in Trabzon on regional traffic and electric vehicle usage?
