The release date of the Star Wars Galactic Racer game, developed by Fuse Games and published by Secret Mode, appeared on Steam for a short time. With the update made on the Steam page of the game, it was shared that the production will be released on October 6, 2026.
Although the information in question was soon removed from Steam, important clues about the pre-order and release details of the game emerged. While standard pre-orders offer platform-specific skins and player banners, the Digital Deluxe edition includes additional content such as a digital art book and exclusive vehicles.
A New Star Wars Adventure
Star Wars Galactic Racer takes place in the New Republic Era after the fall of the Empire. The story of the game revolves around the Galactic League, which was founded by Darius Pax and organizes illegal races.
Players are involved in a racing adventure focused on the characters Darius Pax and Shade fighting against Kestar. Offering explorable areas from a third-person perspective as well as races, the production combines the racing experience with an element of adventure.
Selectable vehicle classes include podracer, landspeeder, speeder bike and skimspeeder, which was added specifically to the game. In the races that will take place on iconic planets such as Hoth, Endor and Tatooine, each vehicle class has its own physics rules and driving dynamics.
Multiplayer Modes and Premium Experience
The game includes the single-player campaign as well as Arcade and PvP multiplayer modes. While online multiplayer mode offers racing support for up to 12 players, a ranking system is also planned to be included in the game.
Fuse Games CEO Matt Webster stated that the game is a premium production and emphasized that there will be no season pass system. Webster rejected this approach, stating that season passes are often associated with free games.
It is stated that in the game, which includes characters such as Ben Quadinaros and Sebulba, whom we know from the movie Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace, the character Sebulba will appear in his old and bearded form. What do you think about this new production, where vehicle customization and development options are at the center of the game?
