Skoda’s New Electric SUV Peaq Introduced

Skoda’s New Electric SUV Peaq Introduced

Skoda’s new electric SUV model Peaq with a range of 600 km has been introduced. Here are the design, technical specifications and all the details of the vehicle.

Skoda shared the first exterior design images for its new electric SUV model Peaq. This new electric vehicle of the brand in the large SUV class will be officially introduced in Monnetier-Mornex, France, on June 23, 2026.

Peaq, which will offer a seating arrangement of up to seven seats, stands out as one of the largest models in Skoda’s electric product range. The vehicle is among the first models bearing the brand’s Contemporary Solid design language.

Design details and specifications

Skoda Peaq has thin T-shaped headlights at the front and a glossy black Tech-Deck Face surface. More obvious horizontal borders and sharp surfaces attract attention on the front bumper.

The side profile of the vehicle is shaped by a high shoulder line, wide D-pillars and door handles integrated into the body. For the first time in the Peaq model, Skoda uses door handles that retract into the body while driving and when the vehicle is locked.

With a length of approximately 4.9 meters, Peaq is positioned as the electric equivalent of Kodiaq in the Skoda product range. The vehicle can be preferred with a five- or seven-seat interior layout.

There is a new Android-based software infrastructure inside. There is a 10-inch digital instrument panel on the driver’s side, and a vertically placed 13.6-inch infotainment screen on the center console.

On the hardware side, a new comfort package called Relax Package is offered. This package includes AGR-certified ergonomic seats with electrically adjustable foot supports and massage functions.

Skoda Peaq is built on the extended MEB platform. The model reaches consumers in three different versions: 60, 90 and 90x.

The entry-level Peaq 60 offers a range of over 460 kilometers. In the Peaq 90 and Peaq 90x versions, the range exceeds 600 kilometers.

Performance and charging technologies

Peaq 60 comes with rear-wheel drive and uses a 63 kWh battery. This version produces 150 kW of power and reaches 0 to 100 km/h in 8.6 seconds.

The Peaq 90 version is also rear-wheel drive and has a 91 kWh battery. This model offers 210 kW of power and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.1 seconds.

Peaq 90x, the four-wheel drive version of the series, comes with a 91 kWh battery and two electric motors. Producing a total power of 220 kW, the model completes the acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.7 seconds.

With the V2L support in the model, power can be transferred from the vehicle battery to electrical devices. With V2H/G technology, it can be used for power integration with vehicle, residential or grid systems.

Skoda achieved a drag coefficient of 0.249 Cd for the Peak. This price is quite remarkable for a large seven-seat SUV.

European prices for the Skoda Peaq have not yet been officially announced. There is no fixed list for Türkiye’s sales calendar and price yet.
