Samsung is expanding One UI 9.0 tests to budget-friendly models such as Galaxy A07, A16 and A17. Here is the list of devices that will receive the new interface and the update details.
Samsung has accelerated its testing work on the One UI 9.0 interface with the aim of improving the software experience it offers to its users. Following the public beta process, which was initially limited to the Galaxy S26 series, Samsung engineers have now started uploading test software to the servers for entry-level and mid-segment Galaxy models.
In this context, budget-friendly devices such as Galaxy A07, A17 and A16 were seen with the One UI 9.0 test software, revealing that the company targets a wide audience in its update strategy. These early-stage tests by Samsung aim to ensure that the software is cleared of possible critical flaws before moving to the stable version.
Samsung Tests More Than Two Dozen Devices
Instead of focusing only on flagship models, the technology giant is preparing a large part of its current product range for the new generation interface.
According to the latest reviews, a wide range of products, from the Galaxy S25 and S24 series to the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 foldable models, have been included in the software development process. Samsung is also working intensively on devices such as A57, A56, A55 and A35, which are the well-known models of the A series.
The fact that the company carries out such a comprehensive testing process proves the value it attaches to software stability.
Expectations Increase for Budget-Friendly Models
Although the entry-level Galaxy phones are displayed on the test servers arouse curiosity among users, this does not mean that updates will be released quickly.
Samsung usually prefers the direct stable release path for these devices. While the beta program remains limited to high-end devices, affordable models are expected to be updated with the Galaxy Unpacked event to be held next month.
Galaxy S and Z series devices will be included in the beta processes and feedback from developers will continue to be received. However, models such as A07 or A16 will directly have stable software and aim for the most trouble-free experience for the end user. This strategy of Samsung seems to be in full harmony with its new policy of extending the software support period.
Users are curiously watching whether their devices will receive the One UI 9.0 update.
The Update Process Continues Unabated
Galaxy Tab S series tablets were not forgotten either; Tab S11 and S10 models are among the devices that will be the first to experience the new generation productivity features that One UI 9.0 will bring.
Throughout this process, Samsung focuses on optimizing the effects of the software on battery performance and system stability. In the coming days, it is expected that the beta program will be expanded, especially for the Galaxy S25 series, and will be available in more regions.
