Renault has announced the prices for its compact electric model, the Renault Megane E-Tech, in the European market following extensive updates. The innovations, introduced in June, focus particularly on battery technology and design details. The new model comes with LFP battery technology, which increases efficiency. This technological change directly affects the vehicle’s driving range and charging performance.

Renewed Battery and Performance Details

The renewed Megane E-Tech is equipped with a new 67 kWh capacity LFP battery pack. This battery provides the vehicle with a range of up to 501 kilometers according to WLTP standards.

Significant improvements have been made in fast charging. Compared to the previous generation, the DC fast charging speed has been increased by 25%.

Thanks to this development, the battery can reach 80% charge from 15% in just 24 minutes. This reduction in charging time provides great convenience for users on long journeys.

The vehicle includes a heat pump as standard equipment. In addition, a battery preheating system that optimizes charging performance is also included with the vehicle.

While 11 kW bidirectional AC charging support is offered as standard, users can also opt for 22 kW charging support if they wish. The regenerative braking system, controlled by paddle shifters behind the steering wheel, allows for one-pedal driving.

Equipment Packages and Design Innovations

On the design side, the Megane E-Tech has undergone a comprehensive change, especially at the front. Except for the headlights, the entire front design has been revamped.

New diamond-patterned daytime running lights and a redesigned bumper give the vehicle a more dynamic look. The Renault logo is now located under the hood.

At the rear, the taillights, extending from end to end, stand out with their new three-dimensional design. These details give the vehicle a contemporary and new stance.

Inside, there is a 12.3-inch digital instrument display and a 12-inch vertical multimedia screen. These screens form the basis of the OpenR link infotainment system.

It is stated that the Gemini artificial intelligence assistant will be integrated into this system in the future. Additionally, there is a cooled wireless charging area supporting the Qi2 standard inside.

Renault has simplified the model options by reducing the equipment level to two. The Techno package is available starting from €34,990.

The Techno package includes a faux leather upholstered dashboard, heated steering wheel, and digital rearview mirror camera as standard. 19-inch alloy wheels are also part of this package.

The Esprit Alpine package is available starting from €37,990. This package includes 20-inch wheels, electric seats with massage function, and a Harman Kardon sound system as standard equipment.

Turkish Market and Sales Information

Renault Turkey has also shared the sales schedule for the renewed model in our country. The Megane E-Tech with LFP battery will be available in Turkey in the last quarter of 2026.

With the new Satin Slate Blue color option, the number of body colors has increased to 7. The trunk volume remains at 439 liters.

Electrically adjustable seats and an augmented reality-based driving assistance package are available as options in the Techno package. In the Esprit Alpine package, extended driver assistance systems are offered as standard.

Renault’s electric vehicle route planner helps users easily identify charging stops on long journeys. This feature is of critical importance, especially for electric vehicle owners.
