Nvidia, one of the leading manufacturers in the technology world, is preparing to expand its product range. According to new arguments based on GameGPU sources, the company is working on the Nvidia RTX 5090 SE graphics card, which will be positioned just below the flagship RTX 5090 model.

Unlike RTX 5090D or similar models with regional restrictions, this new graphics card, which is expected to be offered for sale globally, attracts attention with its technical features. The launch of the model, which is expected to be an alternative for users looking for high performance, with a price tag of $ 1,500, was brought to the agenda in technology circles.

The Technical Capacity of the Graphics Card is Taking Shape

When the technical infrastructure of the new model is examined, it is seen that a more stable structure is aimed compared to the standard RTX 5090 version. The 170 SM units and 21,760 CUDA cores found in the RTX 5090 model are reduced to 110 SM and 14,080 CUDA cores in the SE variant. This proves that the card’s computing power has been optimized to a reasonable extent. In addition, the number of Tensor cores from 680 to 440 is aimed to establish stability between artificial intelligence performance and game performance.

Memory and Power Efficiency Come to the Fore

One of the biggest changes on the hardware side is seen in the memory interface. Instead of the 512-bit data path of the standard model, a 384-bit data path is expected to be used in this new model. On the other hand, compared to the top model with 575W power consumption, the RTX 5090 SE, which offers 500W TGP, adopts a more efficient working principle in terms of power consumption.
