Apple is preparing to unveil the new Apple TV 4K features to users at its event on October 13th. This new model, eagerly awaited in the technology world, stands out especially with the valuable improvements it offers in terms of performance and software.

Prepared within the scope of the company’s strategy to keep its current product range current, this device brings with it long-awaited hardware and software upgrades. Apple, aiming to expand the capabilities of the tvOS platform in particular, aims to take the user experience to the next level with its new hardware.

Software Revolution with Siri AI

Apple integrated the Siri AI technology, which it introduced in June of this year, into platforms such as iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch and Vision Pro. However, in a noteworthy form, Apple TV and HomePod models were not included in these updates.

It is stated that this will change with the new Apple TV 4K, and Siri AI support will be one of the device’s most valuable innovations. This integration means improved content offerings for tvOS users and smarter interaction with television programs and movies.

Siri AI also provides an infrastructure that will enhance the device’s existing InSight feature. Users will be able to ask questions about information around the world and interact more naturally through the new Apple TV, just like on other Apple devices.

This software update is seen as part of Apple’s goal to provide a balanced experience across its entire ecosystem. The inclusion of Siri AI in the tvOS platform strengthens the device’s position not only as a media player but also as a smart home assistant.

High Performance with A19 Class Processor

The Apple TV 4K series hadn’t been updated since 2022, and the current model used the A15 Bionic chip introduced in 2021. The new model is said to come with a performance increase that will radically change this situation.

According to leaks, the new Apple TV 4K will be equipped with an A19 or A19 Pro class processor. The identifier ‘AppleTV18,1’ discovered in Apple code by Aaron Perris provides evidence confirming this new hardware change.

This ‘18,1’ numbering scheme was previously used for the iPhone 17 series, indicating the use of an A19 class chip. It seems more likely that the A19 Pro chip will be preferred, especially for complex tasks such as customizing Siri AI’s voice speed and speech capabilities.

The new processor will not only increase the device’s speed, but will also provide the processing power necessary for future software updates. This major leap in hardware brings the Apple TV 4K to a position that meets current technology standards.

Are you planning to upgrade to the new Apple TV 4K model, or are you happy with your current device?
