New Pick-up from Renault: Niagara

Renault announced the new pick-up model Niagara developed for the Latin American market. All the details of the vehicle, which will be introduced on September 10, 2026, are in our news.

Renault officially announced the name of the new pick-up model developed specifically for the Latin American market as Niagara. This new vehicle is one of the 14 different models that the brand will launch in markets outside Europe by 2030 within the scope of the futuREAdy strategic plan.

The new model was developed with inspiration from the Renault Niagara Concept design exhibited in 2023. Renault emphasizes that this vehicle is not only a commercial load carrier, but also a versatile option suitable for daily use, family needs and out-of-city travel.

Official launch will be held on September 10, 2026

Sylvia dos Santos, responsible for Renault’s naming strategy, says that the name Niagara comes from American Indians and symbolizes the power of nature. The brand states that this name represents concepts such as durability, resistance to harsh natural conditions and suitability for outdoor use.

The vehicle aims to attract attention with its strong design lines and spacious interior. Renault shares that the new pick-up model will offer a combination of comfort-oriented usage experience and advanced technologies.

Renault Niagara, whose production process will be carried out at the Córdoba factory in Argentina, will be introduced at an official event to be held on September 10, 2026. The vehicle is planned to meet consumers in the Latin American market in the last period of 2026.

Latin America plays a critical role in Renault Group’s international growth strategy. The Niagara model is positioned as the new member of the family, following vehicles such as Renault Boreal and Renault Kardian, which expand their product range in the region.

Renault Brand LCV Business Unit Deputy Leader Jan Ptacek states that this new model will significantly strengthen the product family in the region. Ptacek emphasizes that the vehicle will have an argumentative position in the market with its multi-directional structure and large interior volume.
