New Features Coming to Xbox – PlayStation Owners Will Be Jealous

New features coming to Xbox consoles have been announced. Check out the new features, including voice chat recording, an improved achievement system, and an expanded wishlist.

Microsoft is preparing to fundamentally change the gaming experience with new features coming to Xbox consoles with new updates that began testing on the Xbox Insider platform today. According to the official announcement, a new function is being introduced that allows users to include voice chat audio in game recordings. This feature offers a privacy-focused approach by ensuring that only the voices of players who have given their consent are reflected in the recording. In addition, improvements in areas such as the game achievement system, wishlist limits, and cloud-based save management significantly increase Xbox users’ control over the console.

  • A new system that allows the inclusion of voice chat audio in game recordings is being introduced.
  • Achievements list; Games can be sorted by name, completion percentage, and earned Gamerscore.
  • Wishlist capacity has been increased from 301 to 1,000 games, giving players more space.
  • Cloud synchronization allows direct access to old save files from the console.

Achievement System Gains Enhanced Filtering Options

The achievement system in the Xbox The ecosystem is now much more flexible. Players can go beyond the default view and sort their games by name, completion percentage, or total Gamerscore points earned. These sorting options can be used in both ascending and descending orders. This allows players aiming for 100% completion or those wanting to reach the next Gamerscore milestone to track their progress much more easily.

Increasing the wishlist limit to 1,000 games allows players to plan their libraries from a broader perspective.

Cloud-Based Saves Returning to Console

The save feature, which will be widely rolled out next week, takes the game management capabilities of Xbox consoles to the next level. Thanks to this innovation, save files previously synchronized to the cloud in supported games can be directly restored to console memory. This infrastructure, which will be tested for the first time with Forza Horizon 6, allows users to review old save versions in the cloud and return to where they need to go.

The company states that these new features will be gradually rolled out to the entire player community. These updates, both in terms of progress tracking and cloud management, are a great convenience, especially for players who play long-term games. The successful completion of Insider testing processes is expected for the system to work stably.
