Lego Announces Sega Genesis Console Set

Lego Announces Sega Genesis Console Set

Lego announced the new 479-piece set of the Sega Genesis console. All the details of the set, which will go on sale on June 1, are in our news.

Lego and Sega are preparing to launch a new Lego set of the Sega Genesis console, one of the classics of the gaming world. This special model, targeting nostalgia enthusiasts, will be available in both Lego’s online and physical stores on June 1.

This set, which will be on the shelves with a price tag of 40 dollars, offers its users two different name options. Users can label the console with the Genesis brand, as it is known in North America, or the Mega Drive brand, which is used in Japan and other regions.

Detailed Design and Content

This set, consisting of 479 pieces in total, represents a scaled-down version of the game console. The set includes two removable game handles that are approximately 7.5 centimeters wide.

The box content also includes a game cartridge containing Sonic and Tails characters. In addition, there are also special pieces inside the set to create a secret Sonic portrait.

When completed, it measures approximately 3.8 centimeters in height, 15 centimeters in width and 11.5 centimeters in depth. These dimensions allow the console to be displayed on areas such as desktops or shelves.

Lego Sets from the Game World

In recent years, Lego continues to offer gamers various sets based on popular game consoles. The previously released Lego Game Boy and NES sets are among the important parts of this series.

The company had previously released a set for a standalone Sega Genesis controller, and this product was sold out in a short time. Since the new console set is expected to attract similar attention, those who want to purchase the product are recommended to note the date of June 1.

The Lego Game Boy set, released in the past, was modified and made playable by some users. What do you think about this new Lego version of the Sega Genesis console?
