Kia’s new electric compact model EV2 will be available in Türkiye in August. Details about the price and purpose of the vehicle, which has a range of 450 km, are in our news.
Kia is preparing to expand its electric vehicle options in the Turkish market with its fully electric compact model, the EV2. The brand’s statements confirm that this new model will officially go on sale very soon.
Kia Turkey General Manager Şafak Sözcü stated that the vehicle will be on Turkish roads in August. If there are no changes to the planned schedule, the starting price of the model in the Turkish market is expected to be below 2 million TL.
Technical details and price expectation
Şafak Sözcü shared valuable information about the vehicle’s technical specifications in a program he attended. Offering a range of 450 km , the Kia EV2 will come with advanced ignition infrastructure features.
Providing explanations on the pricing strategy, Prosecutor Prosecutor stated that the EV2’s price will be positioned at a level more than 10% lower than the current EV3 model. Considering the EV3 model, which is currently sold with a starting price of 2.4 million TL, this ratio shows that the EV2 will be a more accessible option.
Kia’s future goals and new models
