Xiaomi Brings Mijia Smart Home Products to Europe

Europe, Xiaomi, Car, Technology, Ecosystem

Xiaomi attracted the attention of the technology world with its major launch at the IFA 2026 fair in Berlin. With this strategic move, the company officially announced the start of the Xiaomi Mijia Europe expansion process. Xiaomi, which set up a massive 3,300 square meter booth at the Berlin fair, achieved its largest overseas booth to date. More than 380 products were exhibited in this area, emphasizing that the brand has gone beyond being just a phone manufacturer.

Mijia Ecosystem and New Products

Xiaomi’s new strategy is based on an ecosystem called “Human x Car x Home,” where all devices are interconnected. The Mijia brand is being offered to European consumers with over 2,000 products in more than 130 categories under the theme of “The Art of Smart Living.”

Previously largely limited to the Chinese market, white goods and home appliances will now be available in Europe. These products include multifunctional washing machines, radar-sensor air conditioners, and refrigerators designed to keep food fresh for longer.

All these devices are designed to work together harmoniously within a single ecosystem. These smart systems, which can anticipate users’ needs in advance, aim to make home life more practical.

With this expansion, Xiaomi aims to bring together all technological experiences within the home under one roof. The success of Mijia products in the European market will play a critical role in the company’s global growth objectives.

Automotive Strategy and 2027 Target

Xiaomi President Lu Weibing shared valuable information about the company’s automotive strategy during a statement at the fair. It was officially confirmed that the company’s electric car models will be available on the European market in 2027.

Work continues unabashed to adapt the cars to European roads and local regulations. A dedicated R&D center established in Munich is actively working on this adaptation process.

Xiaomi is not only developing vehicles but is also signing agreements with large German dealer clusters to build a sales and service network. These steps demonstrate the company’s goal of establishing a lasting presence in the European automotive market.

The company is preparing to offer this interconnected ecosystem, from home to car, to European users. This major launch of the Mijia brand in Europe seems set to further strengthen Xiaomi’s position in the technology world.
