Charging Demand Growing Faster Than Vehicle Numbers
Data shows that the electric vehicle fleet in Turkey increased by 59.3% year-on-year from 291,775 units in July 2025 to 464,873 units in July 2026 . In contrast, commercial charging consumption recorded a remarkable growth of 97.1% in the same one-year period.
The approximately 24% jump in consumption in June from 72.5 GWh clearly demonstrates both the impact of holiday and summer traffic and the increased need for charging per vehicle. .
