macOS 26.5 Beta 4 Released! Here’s What’s New

Apple released the highly anticipated macOS 26.5 beta 4. This update, released before WWDC26, focuses on system stability.

Just a week after releasing macOS 26.5 beta 3, Apple has made its fourth beta available to developers ahead of its official release, which is expected to take place in a few weeks.

This update, which proceeds more quietly compared to the mobility on the iOS side, highlights system stability for Mac users.

What awaits us in the new version?

Unlike macOS 26.4, which brought back the compact tab view in Safari and introduced important features such as Charge Limit for battery health, macOS 26.5 seems to be a much calmer and focused update.

So far, there have been no major design or hardware changes in macOS 26.5. It seems that while Apple reserves most of the innovations for the mobile side, it focuses more on cross-platform integrations for the Mac ecosystem.

Apple aims to make the current system as stable, smooth and error-free as possible for users before moving on to the next generation and major feature updates.
