Adobe simplifies creative processes with Firefly AI Assistant. The new assistant works integrated with applications such as Photoshop and Premiere Pro.
Adobe has started the public beta process for Firefly AI Assistant within the Firefly platform. This new chat-based creative assistant is available globally for users with Creative Cloud Pro and paid Firefly plans.
The system allows users at Pro, Pro Plus and Premium subscription levels to turn text commands into multi-step creative workflows. Users can produce the outputs they define in natural language through the assistant through Adobe’s various applications.
A new era in creative processes
Powered by Adobe’s Creative Agent technology, this system integrates with applications such as Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro and Illustrator. The assistant takes on complex tasks such as turning product photos into social media content, creating mood boards or bulk editing.
Users can access more than 60 professional tools such as Generative Fill, Auto Tone and Remove Background through this assistant. All operations performed on photo, video and design assets are shown to the user step by step, giving full control over the process.
Adobe places great emphasis on workflow visibility and allows users to intervene in the process at any point. All edits can be saved directly to Creative Cloud storage for later use in other Adobe applications.
Integration with third-party platforms
By uploading a single image, social media content producers can create content of different sizes for Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat and Facebook via the assistant. Designers can combine logo and packaging images with scaling, lighting and perspective settings with the help of an assistant.

Adobe aims to bring these creative capabilities to third-party AI services, such as Anthropic’s Claude platform. In this way, users will have the opportunity to use Adobe’s professional tools in external artificial intelligence environments.
During the public beta period, eligible users are given daily renewed productive credit rights to use within Firefly AI Assistant. What do you think about this new assistant from Adobe?
