Lenovo has announced the Lenovo Legion C700, a new Android-based handheld console specifically developed for cloud gaming and local PC streaming. The device, aiming to offer a lighter and more accessible portable gaming experience, stands out with its Lenovo Legion C700 features.

The new handheld console will be available for sale starting September 8th. The starting price is 2,199 yuan, while it will be available for 1,999 yuan as part of an early bird promotion.

Screen and Design Details

The Lenovo Legion C700 features a 7.82-inch IPS LCD screen. This screen promises a clear visual experience for gamers with its 1920 x 1080 resolution and 16:9 aspect ratio.

The screen’s 120Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate are optimized for smooth gameplay. Additionally, thanks to its 500 nits peak brightness, sufficient visibility is ensured even outdoors.

The device comes with a compact design that doesn’t require local processing power because it has a cloud-based architecture. At only 14.9 mm thick and weighing 556 grams, the console is approximately 300 grams lighter than standard Windows-based handheld consoles.

Available in Ice Soul White, the device supports its ergonomic design with an Xbox-style button layout. This design aims to provide players with a comfortable experience even during long sessions.

Performance and Connectivity Features

At the heart of the device is the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor, accompanied by 6GB of RAM with 128GB of storage or 8GB of RAM with 256GB of storage. Both models offer microSD card support, allowing for storage expansion.

The Lenovo Legion C700 offers up to nine hours of use during streaming with its 8,000mAh battery. Charging via a USB 2.0 Type-C port, the device is equipped with an active cooling fan to manage heat.

On the control side, there are RGB illuminated TMR magnetic resistive joysticks and Hall-effect linear triggers. In addition to standard ABXY keys, there are also customizable rear and shoulder keys for mapping complex commands.

Running on Android 16, the console supports Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 technologies. Wi-Fi 6E support allows for a more stable connection during streaming using the 6GHz band.

On the software side, Tencent Start Cloud Gaming and Legion Stream applications for local PC streaming come pre-installed. Promising a latency of less than 10ms under optimal network conditions, the device can run games like Black Myth: Wukong at 60fps.
