Skoda has started the countdown for its highly anticipated entry-level electric car, Epiq. The company shared the first details of the vehicle’s interior and drawings reflecting its exterior design with the public.

The new model will be officially introduced with the world premiere to be held in Zurich on May 19, 2026. The shared images reveal the reflections of the brand’s Modern Solid design language in the interior.

A minimalist and spacious interior

A minimalist design approach is adopted in Epiq’s cabin. Horizontal architecture, which replaces the traditional instrument panel, creates a larger and more spacious living space in the vehicle.

Ambient lighting in the interior gives the cabin a warm and inviting atmosphere. The clearly structured control layout offers intuitive ergonomics for both driver and passengers.

There are practical solutions inside the vehicle that make daily use easier. The wireless charging unit located in the independent center console takes technological comfort to the next level.

The two-spoke steering wheel design harmonizes with the modern line of the vehicle. An intuitive control panel that combines physical and tactile buttons to control basic functions supports the driving experience.

Sustainability and strategic goal

Skoda emphasizes its environmentally friendly approach by including sustainable materials in the Epiq model. Open storage areas offer practical solutions for users’ daily needs.

Epiq plays a key role in the brand’s strategy to double its electric vehicle portfolio by 2026. This new model aims to make electric mobility accessible to wider audiences.
