Caviar introduced the luxury Masters of Time collection, which offers the opportunity to carry Swiss watches with the special Watch Vault system integrated into the iPhone 17 Pro Max models.
Caviar, known for its luxury design works, announced its new Masters of Time collection, which brings together technology and watch enthusiasts. iPhone 17 Pro Max models produced within the scope of this special series can physically carry high-quality Swiss watches, thanks to a mechanical case integrated into their back panels.
These extraordinary devices, introduced in June 2026, stand out as a unique work of engineering that combines smartphone technology and classical watchmaking. This special design developed by Caviar turns the back of the device into both a carrying unit and a presentation area, especially for watch collectors.
Mechanical Design Details Attract Attention
The technology used by Caviar in this design is not based solely on gluing the watch to the back cover. The system, called Watch Vault, works with a mechanical locking mechanism with a quick release feature. Thanks to a short threaded ring system, users can fix the watch to the phone or detach it from the watch with a single arm movement, without needing any additional tools.
The space at the back of the phone is covered with a special protective layer to prevent the metal body of the watch from scratching.
When users want to wear their watches on their wrists, decorative metal plates can be used to aesthetically close the gap behind the phone. For example, silver coatings with astrolabe patterns provide a stylish appearance on the back surface of the phone.
Special Models of the Collection Are Introduced
The new series is built on two main models. Designed for Patek Philippe Celestial watches, the Celestial model is equipped with 18 carat white gold and meteorite modules. On the other hand, the Portugieser model developed for the IWC Portugieser Tourbillon Mystère Squelette is decorated with orange sapphires and diamonds.
The company became Jacob & Co. in later periods. It also plans to produce special cases for iconic models such as the Casino Tourbillon and the Rolex Sky-Dweller.
This approach once again proves Caviar’s thesis on personalization.
The Price of Luxury Is Set Very High
These special devices are positioned not only as technological phones, but also as high-priced jewelry and mechanical watch carriers. Pricing varies depending on the rare materials and workmanship used.
The price tag of $ 215,360 shows that the target audience of the device is quite narrow and elite.
