The Find Hub app, which allows Android users to track lost devices, has finally received a long-awaited update. Users can now easily delete old Bluetooth headset and earbud records accumulated within the app.

Previously, smartphones, tablets, and smartwatches were automatically removed from the app when reset to factory settings. However, Bluetooth audio devices remained permanently in the app list.

Clear old devices from the list

With silent updates released by Google, it is now possible to remove Bluetooth audio devices from Find Hub. This new option is available on a wide variety of devices, including Pixel Buds, Nothing headphones, JBL speakers, and OnePlus Buds.

The menu layouts of the devices may show minor differences depending on the model. For example, on Sony WH-1000XM6 headphones, the uninstall option is located under the settings icon, while on some older Sony LinkBuds models, this shortcut is directly on the main screen.

User feedback on Reddit confirms that this feature has been widely rolled out and is available to all users. Despite these differences in menu placement, the uninstall function works standardly for all supported audio devices.

Ease of Use Improved

The Find Hub app offers a highly functional structure for tracking devices connected to your Google account. However, the app becomes cluttered with unused devices over time negatively impacted user experience.

This new update helps keep the list organized, eliminating clutter. You can now quickly remove older Bluetooth devices you no longer need through the app settings to keep your list up-to-date.
