Optimized for track use, the 788HS produces 777 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque with its 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, once again demonstrating the brand’s engineering ambition.
Engineering Wonder Performance Values Are Offered
The new generation McLaren 788HS challenges its competitors in its segment with its performance information. The unit, located at the heart of the vehicle, creates impressive driving dynamics when combined with a total weight of 1,265 kilograms. This lightweight structure allows the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds, while it takes only 7 seconds to reach 200 km/h. This special model, which can reach a maximum speed of 330 km/h, is designed to reinforce its dominance on the tracks.
Only 200 lucky collectors will have the opportunity to own this superior technological heritage.
Design Details Are Being Developed with a Track Focus
The McLaren design group adopted an approach that prioritizes aerodynamic efficiency in the 788HS model. The quad exhaust outlets located at the rear of the vehicle, just below the spoiler, provide both an aesthetic touch and optimized exhaust gas discharge. Inside, the carbon fiber seats that surround the driver like a racing pilot emphasize the track-oriented character of the vehicle. If they wish, customers can reduce the load of the vehicle even further by choosing the completely carbon fiber body option.
Special Production Process Continues
This special series, developed by McLaren Special Operations (MSO), is seen as a reflection of the brand’s vision of personalization and high performance. Having the most efficient power-to-weight ratio of the series places the 788HS model in a unique position among McLaren collections.
Engineers test each module of the vehicle to stand the harsh conditions on the track, promising users a pure driving experience.
