Xiaomi has showcased the luxurious interior of its new SUV model, the Skynomad N70 Max, which boasts a range of 1,461 km. Here are the technical specifications and details.
Xiaomi, which has attracted attention in the automotive world with its SU7 and YU7 models, is raising the bar with its new range extender (EREV) SUV model, the Skynomad N70 Max, added to its product range. The eagerly awaited luxury cabin design and interior details of the model, which was announced with a pre-sale price of approximately $38,200 in the past period, have been officially shared. The vehicle, which stands out with its spacious interior and technological equipment, also breaks records in its segment in terms of electric range.
Spacious Interior and Comfort-Oriented Living Space
Shaped around the concept of an “intelligent and versatile spacious SUV” with a five-seater system, the Skynomad N70 Max offers a length of 4,960 mm, a width of 1,998 mm, a height of 1,765 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,950 mm. The vehicle’s dimensions directly increase the spaciousness inside the cabin. Especially when the second-row seats are slid back, the legroom reaches 1,410 mm, creating a high level of comfort for rear passengers. When the rear seats are folded down, the luggage capacity expands to 2,425 liters.
Autonomous Driving and Safety Technologies
Xiaomi integrates its software and hardware experience from consumer electronics into the vehicle. The model features an advanced autonomous driving unit with a 4nm architecture chip and 700 TOPS processing power.
The system is supported by a front LiDAR sensor, a 4D millimeter wave radar, and Xiaomi HAD autonomous driving infrastructure. In terms of safety, 9 airbags, 14 critical steel reinforcement points with 2,200 MPa durability, and door handles with a three-stage backup system are standard equipment.
Record-Breaking Range and Engine Performance in its Class
The Skynomad N70 Max sets new standards in the EREV (range extender electric vehicle) category with its technical specifications. The 76 kWh capacity NMC battery in the vehicle promises a range of 505 km (CLTC) in pure electric mode. This value is recorded as the highest pure electric range ever offered in the range extender SUV segment.
With the gasoline generator engine engaged, the total driving range reaches 1,461 km. In the scenario where the battery is completely discharged, the SUV exhibits a fuel consumption of 6.1 liters per 100 kilometers, produces a total of 416 horsepower with its dual-motor all-wheel-drive system, and reaches a maximum speed of 190 km/h.
With its enhanced cabin comfort, high range capacity, and competitive price tag, the model is significantly enlivening SUV competition in the Chinese market.
