The phone, developed and produced by ASELSAN and Türk Telekom, is expected to be introduced in the first quarter of 2027. So, we can say that the domestic phone is not far off. The new domestic smartphones will consist of 3 models.

There will be a total of 3 models, starting with an encrypted model.

Within the scope of the project, it is planned to develop 3 different phone models, one of which will be specifically for public employees.

The model specifically for public employees will offer connection protection with an encrypted system. Both phone calls and written communications will be encrypted, thus preventing phone tapping and other cyberattacks.

The model planned for crypto protection is expected to have high-end features and be exclusively for public employees. With this system, both notifications and calls will be protected by a special system. This will be a valuable asset against data leaks and cybersecurity.

The other two models will be divided into two categories: affordable and high-end.

The affordable model is expected to come with features such as a domestic operating system and a built-in satellite antenna. This will provide uninterrupted connectivity via satellite communication in case of natural disasters or emergencies. The main difference between the affordable model and its higher-end model will be the processor, screen, camera, storage and RAM size, and battery. Water and dust resistance will be available in both the affordable and its higher-end models.

Common Features of the 3 Smartphones

All models will have a satellite antenna to ensure uninterrupted communication in case of natural disasters or emergencies such as earthquakes. These phones will also be water and dust resistant. Processor power, memory, and battery life will meet the requirements of the age.

Another very important point is that the phone models will be compatible with the domestic car TOGG, and their software and operating system will be domestic.

The domestic smartphone will be produced in Istanbul

The first production will take place in Istanbul. The first phone model will be introduced in the first quarter of 2027. The phone, which will be produced especially for the public sector, will be very valuable because the new domestic and national phone will be protected by an encrypted system.
