Istanbul Technical University (ITU) Ayazağa Campus hosted the “China Day” event, which brought together China’s technological development and cultural richness. Vivo Türkiye, along with many Chinese technology brands, took part in the organization that aimed to promote China’s technological development and cultural richness.

Transforming the campus atmosphere into an interactive platform focused on technology and culture, the event allowed students to get to know China’s innovation ecosystem and cultural heritage closely. Throughout the day, participants had the opportunity to examine innovative products and participate in various applications in the experience areas where different technology brands were located.

Speaking at the opening of the event, China’s Consul General in Istanbul, Wei Xiaodong, drew attention to the deep-rooted relations between Turkey and China and emphasized the importance of academic and technological cooperation between the two countries. Wei said that joint studies, especially with science and technology centers such as Istanbul Technical University, have strategic value.

Vivo, one of the world’s leading technology brands, met with students with the experience area it created within the scope of China Day. Students who visited vivo’s stand had the opportunity to experience different products of the brand, as well as the X300 Ultra photography kit and video rig kit, which will be launched in Turkey soon. Standing out with its competencies in mobile photography and video production, vivo supported students’ interest in content production with interactive activities throughout the event. “Zoom challenge” events held on campus offered participants the opportunity to explore vivo’s imaging technologies in a fun and experience-oriented format.
