Newly added icons include disco ball designs with shiny silver, gold and neon color gradients. These icons can be easily changed from the “Application Icon” section in the settings menu of the application.
This strategy of the company is actually seen as part of its effort to keep its loyal user base more active on the platform. With the spread of “home screen aesthetic” trends, especially on social media, technology giants began to go beyond their standard logos. Spotify also keeps up with this trend and offers diversity beyond the standard green and black icon.
