Siri AI Coming to Apple TV 4K with tvOS 27 Update

New leaks indicate that Siri AI will be coming to Apple TV 4K models with the tvOS 27 update. Here are all the details about Apple’s new AI strategy.

Apple’s Siri AI technology, announced last June but excluding Apple TV and HomePod devices, will be included in the Apple TV 4K platform with the tvOS 27 update, according to new leaked information. The aim of the “One Siri” strategy, emphasized at the WWDC event, to provide a balanced experience across all devices, is supported by new references found in the tvOS 27 code.

Reviews of the developer version of the software reveal concrete evidence that Siri AI will be activated on Apple TV, and it is claimed that this development will be offered with the new Apple TV 4K hardware expected to be released in the fall.

  • A new application entry with the codename “campo” indicating Siri AI has been detected in the tvOS 27 software code.
  • The unified Siri experience announced by Apple at the WWDC event will also include the Apple TV platform with the new update.
  • The new Siri AI features are expected to be offered exclusively with the new generation Apple TV 4K hardware to be introduced in the fall.

Siri AI Coming to Apple TV Confirmed

Apple aims to provide users with a personalized experience across all their devices with its “One Siri” vision. However, the absence of this new AI integration in Apple TV and HomePod models during the June launches created anticipation among users.

Newly revealed data shows that Apple is preparing to address this deficiency.

Analysis via Xcode revealed the code “com.apple.campo” in the tvOS 27 system document, representing Siri AI.

Evidence in System Code Strengthens

This code sequence, which was not present in tvOS 26 but is present in tvOS 27, proves that an AI-based Siri version has been integrated at the system level.

The “Campo.app” document seen in the application list, although currently closed to user interaction, indicates that a significant infrastructure change is being made in the background of the system.

The “disabled” error message encountered during attempts to run the system shows that the feature is not yet available to the end user but is located in the core of the software. This situation is interpreted as Apple completing its software preparations and planning to activate these features with the new hardware launch.

Features Introduced with Hardware Update

It is not yet clear how Siri AI will work on Apple TV and whether it will be compatible with existing models. Dal analysts state that it is quite likely that these advanced artificial intelligence features will only be included in Apple TV 4K models with the new processor.

Apple plans to maximize hardware and software integration at its September event.
