Google has begun rolling out the September 2026 Android Drop update to users worldwide. This comprehensive update package brings valuable innovations, including the ‘Remembered’ list in Find Hub, the Motion Assist feature, and the Keep functionality integrated into Google Messages.

Objects are now easily found with Find Hub

The integration between Find Hub and Gemini now allows you to locate even items without tracking tags. Users can record the location of items by giving voice commands such as, “Gemini, remember I put my passport in the bedroom drawer.”
A photo of the item can also be added to the system if desired. All recorded information is stored in the new ‘Remembered’ section within the Find Hub application.
Users can query the location of these items via Gemini using voice commands whenever needed. This feature is available on Android 16 and above.

Motion Assist Reduces Motion Sickness

Developed for Android 17 users, Motion Assist aims to minimize motion sickness, especially during car, bus, or train travel. A thin layer of bubbles that appears on the screen and synchronizes with the vehicle’s movement helps to eliminate the mismatch between the movement the eye sees and the acceleration the body feels.
Users can customize the color, shape, and opacity settings of this layer. Additionally, the system can be configured to automatically activate when it detects motion.

Visual Guidance Offered with Gemini Live

The Guided Vision feature added to Gemini Live stands out as a powerful tool that helps users understand objects around them. Offering audio guidance in many areas, from reading restaurant menus to deciphering small print on labels, this technology also guides the user regarding camera angle.
This feature, easily accessible via the accessibility shortcut, is available on devices with Android 9 and above.

Note Sharing Made Easier with Google Messages

With the new update, Google Messages has started to work directly integrated with Google Keep. Users can now edit their shopping lists or notes without leaving a messaging window.
This feature, accessed from the plus menu on the chat screen, allows the created list to be shared directly as a note in the notification feed. This integration aims to speed up user collaboration and information sharing.
