A change of leadership has taken place at Enerjisa Energy’s CFO position. Joanna Kępczyńska became the company’s new CFO as of November 1, 2026.
Enerjisa Energy is undergoing a significant leadership change in its management team. Dr. Philipp Ulbrich, who has served as the company’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO) since June 2023, will hand over his duties to Joanna Kępczyńska, Member of the Board of Directors and CFO of E.ON Poland, effective November 1, 2026. Ulbrich will continue her career as a Global Business Services Module Leader within the E.ON Group.

Joanna Kępczyńska, who will take over the financial management of Enerjisa Energy on November 1, 2026, has extensive international experience in the power sector. An experienced executive who has undertaken critical responsibilities in the European power market, primarily in Poland and Germany, she has served as a Board Member and CFO at E.ON Polska for the last 10 years.
Kępczyńska stands out with her expertise in electricity distribution, retail operations, and innovative customer solutions. In this period where the energy sector is being reshaped by digitalization and green power transformation, the new CFO is expected to guide the company’s financial operations in Turkey and its sustainability-focused growth plans.
Background of the Leadership Change and E.ON Group Connection
Dr. Philipp Ulbrich, who handed over his duties, played a key role in Enerjisa Energy’s transition to the new regulatory era and in the financial processes that accelerated the company’s infrastructure investments. Following approximately three and a half years in office, Ulbrich is taking a new step on the international stage, assuming operational leadership of global business processes within the E.ON Group, one of Enerjisa’s main partners.

In his statements regarding the leadership change, Enerjisa Energy Chairman of the Board İhsan Erbil Bayçöl thanked Philipp Ulbrich for his contributions during his term.
