Samsung announced important changes that will make it much more practical for Galaxy users to participate and leave software testing processes. According to the official statement made through the Samsung Members application, Beta Program participation procedures have been adjusted again, especially with the One UI 9.0 version.

The company aims to make the process more fluid by reducing the bureaucratic obstacles users face when logging in and out of beta tests. Now, users can access beta updates suitable for their devices much faster and can quickly leave these test sets whenever they want.

Beta Participation Processes Are Simplified

Previously, users had to approve the Beta Terms and Conditions separately for each new device model. With the new system, once accepted, this agreement becomes valid for all future beta programs. This arrangement saves a lot of time, especially for users who frequently use different devices or follow all beta versions.

Additionally, Samsung has created a permanent “One UI Beta Home” area within the Samsung Members app. This section will remain visible in the app whether the beta test is active or not. While users can view all beta programs suitable for their devices here, new programs are also supported with special announcement banners on the home screen.

Leaving Testing Processes Becomes Easier

Leaving the beta program has now become as easy as joining the beta program. Users can click on the “Withdraw from beta program” option using the “More” menu on the detail page of the beta program. This process leaves the user free to revert to the stable version or exit the current program without encountering any difficulty.

After users withdraw from beta testing, they have the right to log back into the system whenever they want.

Helpful Tips Section is Updating

Samsung has also comprehensively updated the “Tips” section in the Samsung Members application to improve the user experience. Newly added content includes critical information such as registration procedures, data backup strategies and ways to return to the stable version.
This section, which also includes frequently asked questions, gathers all the technical support that test users may need under one roof.

This move by Samsung proves once again how much it cares about user feedback in software development processes.
