Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi is preparing to launch its highly anticipated new flagship series, the Redmi K100, in August, and one member of the series has appeared in a Geekbench performance test. The device, seen with the model number M511CD, is powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. The series, which will be first unveiled at ChinaJoy 2026, a well-known Chinese technology event, is attracting attention with its high-performance hardware and advanced technical specifications. Tested with the Android 16 operating system, the phone seems poised to set a new standard in the portable world, especially with its core performance scores.

Redmi K100 Models Stand Out with Their Technical Performance

The device with the model number M511CD seen on Geekbench had previously been registered on the 3C certification platform with 100W fast charging support.

The device’s single-core performance of 3,429 points and multi-core performance of 10,461 points showcases the efficiency of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 architecture. Expected to ship with Android 16, the phone is rumored to be optimized with Xiaomi’s current interface, HyperOS 4.

Screen and Hardware Features Updated

According to leaks, the Redmi K100 series will offer users a high-end OLED screen experience with a 185Hz refresh rate.

This fluid screen experience will be supported by modern security features such as an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint reader. On the hardware side, IP68 and IP69 certifications are expected to provide full protection against water and dust.

Furthermore, it is stated that the devices will be equipped with advanced haptic engines and a high-quality speaker system.

Camera Systems Offer Professional Shots

On the camera side, the standard model comes with a 200-megapixel main sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 50-megapixel tele-macro lens. In the Pro model, a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens is preferred instead of the tele-macro lens, increasing the zoom capacity. These hardware improvements prove that Redmi has taken its camera argument to the next level.

Thanks to its large battery capacities, the Redmi K100 series aims to surpass its competitors in terms of power efficiency.
