OpenAI turns ChatGPT into a premium app that includes coding and spy tools
OpenAI is carrying out a very comprehensive transformation process on the well-known chatbot ChatGPT. The company is reportedly planning to turn its core work into one wonder app.
Sources close to the subject state that there is now a prevailing view within OpenAI that “chat is dead.” With this new strategy, the platform is aimed to become a center for revenue-generating coding tools and autonomous software spies.
Super App Strategy and Revenue Goals
OpenAI aims to increase its revenues and get ahead in its competition with its rival Anthropic, especially by focusing on corporate customers. In a previous statement, the company’s Revenue Manager, Denise Dresser, signaled a unified structure where employees can carry out their work from a single point.
This transformation will move ChatGPT from just a chat interface to an ecosystem where coding, rendering and browser-based spies work together. The company positions the plug-ins and application integrations it launched last year as the cornerstones of this new structure.
Features such as ChatGPT Plugins that have been tried in the past will be replaced by a more advanced application infrastructure. OpenAI plans to increase the efficiency of the platform by encouraging users to use these tools more heavily.
An Experience Beyond Requests
One of OpenAI’s long-term goals is to completely eliminate the need for user-written commands or prompts. The company aims to build a system where its models can automatically understand user intentions.
This thesis purpose is based on a structure that assumes what users want to do when using the application. However, experts emphasize that OpenAI must first successfully create the interface that will direct the existing user base to coding and spy-based tools.
After old features that were rejected or developed, this new interface design is seen as the most concrete challenge for the company. Ultimately, it will be the users themselves who will decide whether an application is “super” or not.
