Poke, the first AI representative for Apple Messages, has been approved. Here are the details of the new assistant that offers e-mail, planning and smart home control.
The application called Poke becomes a new rival to Siri by offering the opportunity to directly perform processes such as sending e-mails, creating reminders and producing images via Apple Messages. Launched in March 2026, this proactive assistant became the first third-party AI agent accessible through the Apple Messages for Business platform.
As WWDC 2026 approaches, rumors that Apple will increase its support for third-party artificial intelligence tools with iOS 27 are getting stronger. Thanks to this new integration, iPhone users can manage a wider range of processes from within the messaging application.
What can be done with Poke?
Developed by Interaction Company, Poke helps users respond to emails and plan events. For example, when making dinner plans, it becomes possible to coordinate details such as date, time, food type and restaurant selection with the assistant.
The application is not only limited to planning, but also can perform web searches, produce and edit images. It can also perform functions such as flight processes, QR code generation and summarizing YouTube images.
Poke can communicate directly with devices such as Philips Hue smart lights and Sonos speakers. Oura smart ring is fully compatible with third-party services such as Microsoft Outlook, Gmail, GitHub, Strava and Navan.
Installation and pricing
Those who want to use Poke must register with their phone number or Telegram account. Details and capabilities of the features offered by the application can be accessed via Poke.com.
The pricing model of the service is based on a very different approach and is determined as a result of negotiations with the user. While easy processes and manual commands are offered free of charge, a price must be paid for requests that require heavy processes.
In addition to Siri and ChatGPT integration for iPhone users, a new option has been added with Poke. With the iOS 27 update, Apple is expected to offer more artificial intelligence agent options to its users.
