OnePlus 16 Receives Certification and Confirms 100W Charging

OnePlus is nearing completion of preparations for its highly anticipated new flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 16. Having successfully passed the 3C certification process in China, the device has thus received all the necessary legal approvals for its launch.
Registered under the model number PYB110, the phone officially confirms its 100W wired fast charging support. Along with previously completed SRRC and Ministry of Industry approvals, the device’s N79 5G band support and other technical infrastructure have also been solidified. The OnePlus 16 is preparing to meet tech enthusiasts with an official launch in the Chinese market in October.

Additionally, the device, which will also feature 50W wireless charging support, is expected to be one of the most impressive models of 2026 in terms of battery life.

On the software side, the OnePlus 16, running on ColorOS 17 and Android 17, aims to offer a smooth user experience with a 165Hz screen refresh rate In gaming scenarios, this speed can reach up to 185Hz. These technical specifications indicate that the device will occupy a very strong position in the current flagship competition.
Global Launch Remains Uncertain
The completion of all certification processes and the start of official teaser trailers suggest that a Chinese launch in October is very close. However, there is no clear information yet on whether the phone will be released in international markets. Some reports are raising concerns that the device may not be available for sale globally. Nevertheless, the OnePlus 16 continues to create excitement in the tech world with its technical specifications.
