Motorola took the stage at the classic Snapdragon Summit event and launched its most ambitious flagship segment trump card. The company officially unveiled the Motorola Signature 27 model, the first representative of its new generation high-end smartphone strategy. The manufacturer, which adopted a new model name referencing the upcoming year, aims to directly change the dynamics in the top segment with Qualcomm’s most powerful chipset, massive cooling architecture, a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera, and a collaboration with Danish audio giant Bang & Olufsen.

Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme and ArcticMesh Cooling System

The Motorola Signature 27 is powered by Qualcomm’s most advanced mobile platform, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6, built on a 2nm manufacturing process. The chipset’s high processing power and on-device AI performance are supported by a special cooling architecture to prevent performance loss under prolonged high loads.

To balance this power increase, Motorola engineers have introduced the new ArcticMesh cooling system, which is 40% larger than its predecessor. This multi-layered structure consists of a redesigned 3D vapor chamber, liquid metal thermal interface material, copper grid heat spreaders, and diamond-enhanced thermal paste. This ensures stable heat dissipation from the chassis during intense gaming sessions and under multiple processing loads.

Software Support and On-Device Generative AI

The device achieves flagship-class longevity standards on the software side. Motorola confirms it will offer operating system updates

for a full 7 years for the Signature 27. The model runs on Google Gemini infrastructure with deep system integration:

• Gemini Omni Integration: It directly processes the photo, image, and text commands provided by the user on the device and converts them into ready-made image projects.
• Music Production with Google Lyria: It can produce custom music and background sounds locally without needing an external server.
• 6-Antenna Network Infrastructure: A specially positioned antenna array is included to accelerate cloud-based AI queries and high-speed data flow.

200 Megapixel Periscope and Bang & Olufsen Signature

Raising the bar on the camera side as well, the device features 50-megapixel

Sony LYTIA 910 sensor as its main camera. This sensor is accompanied by a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera designed to maintain clarity, especially in distant architectural and nature shots. To prevent shaking in moving shots, hardware optical image stabilization (OIS) hybridly works with Qualcomm’s electronic algorithm, capable of compensating for up to 3.5 degrees of motion. In addition to visual capabilities, a significant principle is also set on the audio side. The Signature 27 is Motorola’s first commercially available device to feature “Audio by B&O”

acoustic tuning, developed in collaboration with Danish audio technology manufacturer Bang & Olufsen.

Design and Release Date

The phone’s body consists of a curved aluminum frame and a custom camera island that blends ceramic and brushed aluminum. The model comes in two different Pantone-certified material and color options: PANTONE Coal Smoke

with a tactical mesh texture for superior grip and
