One UI 9 Beta Program Starts for Galaxy S26

Samsung has extended the Android 17-based One UI 9 beta program to India for the Galaxy S26 series. Here are the new updates and bug fixes.

Samsung announced that it has opened the Android 17-based One UI 9 beta program to the Indian market for the Galaxy S26 series. This testing process, which started in South Korea and then spread to European countries such as the UK and Germany, is now available for users in India.

While the update released in India comes with the S94xBXXU2ZZEQ software version, it also brings the Android security patch dated June 5, 2026. This package, approximately 3.7 GB in size, covers the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+ and Galaxy S26 Ultra models.

Second beta update and bug fixes

Apart from the expansion in India, Samsung has also rolled out the One UI 9 Beta 2 update for its users in the UK and South Korea. Other regions are expected to receive this second update soon.

The second beta update, 1.6 GB in size, released for the Galaxy S26 Ultra in the UK, includes various system improvements and bug fixes. According to update notesGPUWatch interruption issue, functionality errors in routine applications and status bar display errors have been fixed.

In addition, issues such as the lock screen clock font not changing when LockStar is installed, delays in mass deletion of messages, and the lock screen clock shifting downwards have been resolved. The flaw in the Game Booster entry point settings is also among the issues fixed in this version.

How to check for updates?

Users who are registered to the One UI 9 beta program but do not see the updates on their devices now can perform manual control. It is possible to check new versions from the software update section under the settings menu.

It seems that Samsung aims to make the user experience more stable with this new software process.
