The new Mercedes-Benz GLB 220 4MATIC AMG was put on sale in Turkey with a price tag of 4 million 990 thousand TL. Hybrid technology and technical features are in our news.
Mercedes-Benz Türkiye announced that it has launched the highly anticipated new Mercedes-Benz GLB 220 4MATIC AMG model for sale in the Turkish market today. This luxury SUV, which draws attention with its hybrid infrastructure and advanced technical equipment, is offered to car lovers with a starting price of 4 million 990 thousand TL. Standing out with both its efficiency in urban use and the performance provided by the 4MATIC four-wheel drive system, the vehicle takes the brand’s argument in the compact SUV segment to the next level.
Hybrid Technology Combines with High Performance
The new generation Mercedes-Benz GLB 220 4MATIC draws attention with its engineering-perfect compact design. This system, in which the engine and transmission unit are integrated, has a very efficient working principle thanks to cylinder gap optimization. In particular, the combination of the electric motor, inverter and transmission in a single body improves the vehicle’s center of gravity and power transfer efficiency.
48-volt lithium-ion battery technology makes a valuable contribution to the dynamic structure of the vehicle. The support provided by the electric motor during acceleration at low speeds offers instant reactions to the driver and keeps fuel consumption to a minimum. In scenarios where the power requirement is below 27 horsepower, the vehicle switches to fully electric driving mode, promising a quiet and environmentally friendly experience.
The total torque output reaches 500 Nm, allowing the vehicle to exhibit superior traction under all road conditions.
Driving Dynamics and Power Recovery Improved
The new GLB is quite flexible in terms of power management while driving. The model, which can travel at speeds up to 100 km/h with the coasting function, can perform recovery, that is, power recovery, in all eight gears. Thanks to this system, up to 25 kW of power is recycled to the batteries during braking and deceleration.
When the handling advantage provided by the 4MATIC system is combined with the torque offered by the hybrid engine, a comfortable driving character emerges both in urban traffic and on long journeys. By using a breakaway clutch in this model, Mercedes-Benz has made the transitions between the internal combustion engine and the electric motor almost imperceptible.
Mercedes-Benz sets the technological standards again in the compact SUV segment with its new GLB model.
This vehicle, which draws attention with the powerful equipment package it offers in the Turkish market, meets the expectations of technology and comfort-oriented users.
