New AMD Radeon RX 9050 Graphics Card is on the Way

The technical specifications and performance details of AMD’s new graphics card Radeon RX 9050 have been announced. Information about the Navi 44 architecture card is here.

AMD is preparing to expand the Radeon RX 9000 series desktop graphics card family. It has been revealed that the company is working on a new model, the Radeon RX 9050.

This new graphics card is based on the Navi 44 architecture and is positioned below the Radeon RX 9060 series. Although the technical specifications of the model are still at a preliminary stage, the first data about the hardware details of the card have been shared.

Technical Specifications and Performance Details

The Radeon RX 9050 has 2,048 Stream processors, the same as the Radeon RX 9060 XT. This shows that the card uses the Navi 44 XT core configuration.

The clock speeds of the card remain at lower levels compared to the Radeon RX 9060 XT model. The Radeon RX 9050 is listed with a gaming clock of 1,920 MHz and a boost clock of 2,600 MHz.

These values indicate a 24 percent decrease in game clock and a 17 percent decrease in boost clock compared to the Radeon RX 9060 XT reference specifications. On the memory side of the card, there is 8GB GDDR6 memory on a 128-bit bus.

Memory bandwidth is stated as 288 GB/s, and this value is similar to the Radeon RX 9060 model. PCIe 5.0 x16 support is also expected to be included on the card.

Power Consumption and Positioning

An exact card power consumption value for the Radeon RX 9050 has not been announced yet. However, the recommended power supply requirement is stated as 450W.

Looking at the 500W recommended power supply value for the Radeon RX 9060 XT model, it appears that the new model targets a lower power class. What do you think about this new graphics card?
