Motorola, which has intensified the competition in the smartphone market, is leaking the technical specifications of the Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ model, the most powerful member of the Edge 70 series, which it is preparing to introduce in India on June 4, on its official website and Flipkart.

The microsite, which appeared quietly on Flipkart recently, reveals all the design details, color options and interesting hardware components of the device before the launch.

Aiming to set the flagship standards again, the phone is preparing to make a big impact in the premium segment with its MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Extreme processor, 6.8-inch 144Hz AMOLED screen, huge 6500 mAh capacity battery and 50 Megapixel periscope camera.

This new device, positioned by the company for high-end users, seems to change the stability in the smartphone market with the innovations it offers.

Superior Screen Features and Stylish Design

Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ raises the bar very high in terms of visual experience. The phone uses a 6.8 inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2772×1272 pixels.

This panel provides a fluid and vibrant image quality with its 144Hz refresh rate and HDR10 + support, while reaching an excellent peak brightness value of 5200 nits.

Offering perfect readability even under sunlight, the screen also brings Pantone-approved color calibration, Water Touch technology that detects water drops, and low blue light certificates that protect eye health.

The external appearance of the device gives a distinguished feeling befitting its performance. Corning Gorilla Glass 7i glass is used on the front panel, which is durable against impacts and scratches.

On the back cover, there are several striking Pantone color options such as Stormy Sea (Green), Zinfandel (Red) and Chicory Coffee (Wooden texture).

Although the phone has a huge battery of 6500 mAh, it offers a thickness of only 7.19 mm to 7.34 mm and increases the comfort of holding it with its weight of 190 grams.

In addition, it complies with MIL-STD-810H military standards against impacts, as well as IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance certificates.

Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ has the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Extreme chipset at its heart for performance-oriented users.

This powerful processor is accompanied by 12 GB LPDDR5X RAM and high-speed 256 GB UFS 4.1 storage.

The phone, which comes out of the box with the Android 16 operating system, guarantees users three years of major operating system updates and five years of security patches.

The device also stands out with rich communication and security features such as Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, Dolby Atmos supported stereo speakers, ThinkShield security software and under-screen fingerprint reader.

High-Level Photography Skills

On the camera side, Motorola is making a show of its strength with its triple 50 Megapixel system. The OIS (Optical Landscape Stabilization) supported main camera uses the Sony LYTIA 710 sensor, which allows taking high-resolution photos.

Despite its compact form, the 6500 mAh capacity silicon-carbon battery fitted inside the device virtually makes the fear of batteries a thing of the past. The phone is fully charged within minutes with 90W fast charging support in wired use.

In addition, flexible power sharing options such as 15W wireless charging, 10W wireless charging and 5W wired charging are also offered.

It is known that the standard Edge 70 Pro model is available for sale in India for approximately $410.

With its periscope camera, advanced wireless charging capabilities, screen improvements and premium rear panel options, the Edge 70 Pro + model is expected to be priced just below the 50,000 Rupees (approximately $520) band.

If these predictions are correct, the new model will be at the top of the market as the most equipped and high-priced phone of the Edge 70 series.
