Second Baht amnesty applications have started for accounts banned on the Metin2 TR server for reasons other than bots and cheating.
Metin2, one of the most fundamental and most played MMORPG productions in the world, is making a radical decision that excites the player community in Türkiye.
Gameforge, the publisher of the game, is launching a special amnesty program called Second Baht for players whose accounts have been closed and punished for various reasons in the past.
Within the scope of this one-time pilot program, which is limited to only the Turkey (TR) server, it is aimed to remove the bans on the accounts of former players who meet certain rules.
This special process, in which applications will be accepted between June 1 and June 30, 2026, opens the doors of the three kingdoms again to players who promise to comply with the rules.
A New Era in Metin2 Türkiye Servers
Metin2, which has been played by a loyal player base for years and is one of the biggest symbols of internet cafe culture in Turkey, is taking a game-changing step in community management.
The company defends the idea that past punishments should not last forever, stating that they believe that people can change over time.
The Second Fortune program, which was implemented in this direction, is currently being carried out as a limited pilot application only with the Turkish community worldwide.
After this process, Gameforge plans to carefully evaluate the results and player behavior and decide whether the system will be implemented in other countries.
This process, which will continue throughout June, gives thousands of players who stayed away from the adventure because of violating the rules the opportunity to return to their characters.
What are the Application Rules? Who Can Benefit from Amnesty?
Gameforge clearly states that this amnesty program is not aimed at cheaters or individuals who undermine the enjoyment of the game. For this reason, it is stated that the accounts that will apply will be subjected to a very strict filter.
Those with a history of bots and hacks are excluded
The strictest rule of the program is based on security and fair play structure. Accounts that have been found to have actively used bots, run scripts, hacked or exploited game vulnerabilities in the past are permanently and unconditionally excluded from this program.
In other words, individuals who harm the economy and fairness of the game with third-party software are definitely not given a second chance.
Required Criteria and Character Requirement
Individuals who have been banned for reasons other than the use of bots and cheats (for example, chat rules violations, player discussions, or other minor in-game offenses) must meet the following conditions to apply:
At least one account within the account in question. Level 70or having a character on it,
The penalty received is directly related to the in-game rules,
From the date of implementation of the ban at least 3 monthsIt must have passed.
How to Apply for Second Baht?
If you fully meet all the criteria mentioned above, the official steps you need to follow to recover your account as follows:
Creating a Request via the Support Portal
Players must log in to the Metin2 TR Boost portal (ticket system) between June 1 and June 30, 2026.
In the support request to be opened here, the information that was activated specifically for this period “Second Chance”Choosing the category is of vital importance.
The company emphasizes that if the relevant category is selected incorrectly, the supplement request will be terminated immediately without any review.
The support group examines the requests individually and makes a decision.
Rules for Those with Multiple Accounts
Players who have more than one banned account registered to the same e-mail address are requested to make a single application through their main account in order to avoid creating system congestion.
While only one support request is required to be opened for each e-mail address, players can add the e-mail addresses and information of the other sub-accounts they want to recover as text into the same support request.
This way, teams receive all eligible accounts linked to that email on a single ticket.
However, there is also a technical warning here. It is stated that some accounts that are from very old years and are not yet connected to the modern Gameforge Account infrastructure may experience technical difficulties, in these cases additional support cannot be provided and old accounts may not be activated again due to system inadequacy.
Decisions Final and New Violations Reason for Permanent Ban
Gameforge underlines that this step is not a privileged immunity or right of passage given to players.
It is stated that players whose accounts are opened will start the game with a clean slate, but in case of the slightest violation of the new rules or attempted cheating, the accounts will be permanently closed, irreversibly.
The decisions to be made following the reviews made through the system are final and there is no right to object to these decisions or request an exception. The final decision of the reinforcement group regarding the ticket as a result of the review is considered valid.
If you meet the application criteria and have learned from your past shortcomings, the world of the legendary Dragon God and the three great kingdoms are preparing to welcome you again.
