The Software Update menu within System Settings remains the primary channel for users to access updated versions. Developers can download the macOS Tahoe 26.5 release candidate to their devices by making the necessary settings through this menu.

These updates to Apple’s software ecosystem include routine improvements aimed at improving the stability of the operating system. An official date has not yet been shared regarding when macOS Tahoe 26.5 will be available for general use.
