LG announced its new webOS-based OLED gaming monitor UltraGear 34GX90SB-W. Details about 240 Hz refresh rate and smart features.
LG added a new model to the UltraGear series developed for gamers. This new monitor, codenamed 34GX90SB-W, draws attention with its advanced OLED panel and smart features.
The device is built on a 34-inch curved OLED screen. Offering WQHD resolution of 3440 x 1440 pixels, the monitor promises a smooth gaming experience with a 240 Hz refresh rate.
Technical Specifications and Scenery Quality
The 800R curvature rate in the new model creates a structure that draws the viewer into the screen. Micro Lens Array Plus (MLA+) technology used in the monitor ensures that light is transferred to the viewer much more efficiently.
The peak brightness of the screen can reach up to 1300 cd/m². The panel, which has a GtG reaction time of 0.03 ms, supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible and VESA AdaptiveSync technologies.

VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification, which supports image quality, increases the depth of colors. The device offers professional-level color accuracy thanks to 98.5 percent DCI-P3 color coverage.
Smart Features and Relationship Options
One of the most striking aspects of the monitor is the webOS operating system it contains. Users can directly access platforms such as Netflix and YouTube without needing a computer.

It is possible to connect to cloud gaming services such as Xbox Cloud Gaming, GeForce NOW and Amazon Luna through the LG Gaming Portal. For these processes, it is sufficient for the device to be connected to the internet.
On the hardware side, the Alpha 8 AI Processor 4K Gen 3 processor performs scene and sound optimizations in real time. 5 W + 5 W stereo speakers and AI Sound Pro support are used for the sound experience.
On the connection side, there is a USB-C port that can transfer 65 W power, HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4 inputs. To get 240 Hz performance at WQHD resolution, HDMI 2.1 or DisplayPort 1.4 connections must be used.
It is not yet clear when the monitor, whose international sales price is set at $999.99, will arrive in the Turkish market. What do you think of the smart features this new OLED monitor offers?
