The technology giant, which changed the industry by removing the home screen button with the iPhone X on its tenth anniversary, is aiming for a similar revolution with this model symbolizing its 20th anniversary.
iPhone 20 is expected to offer an unprecedented aesthetic approach by taking edge-to-edge display technology to the next level. The company is expected to completely renew its design language by launching this special device together with the second generation foldable iPhone models, which are expected to be introduced in the same period.

It is stated that, unlike the sharp curves used by Samsung, Apple focuses on ‘micro-curve’ technology that provides a softer and natural grip. This design is expected to be supported by optical refraction techniques that allow screen content to be displayed without distortion.
By thinning the screen frames to 1.1 mm, Apple aims to make the device be perceived as having an invisible frame.
Hidden Technologies Are Placed Under the Screen
One of Apple’s biggest challenges is eliminating all the cutouts on the front. While efforts to hide the Face ID sensors and front camera under the screen continue, experts are divided on whether this technology will work at full efficiency by 2027.
If the under-screen camera is not fully ready, it seems possible that a smaller ‘Dynamic Island’ design will continue to be used.
Physical Keys Are Becoming History
It is said that Apple will bring back the haptic button system known as ‘Project Bongo’ in order to make the appearance of the device completely smooth. These keys, which do not have mechanical movement capability, will provide feedback to the user through vibration when pressed. Thanks to this technology, the device will be able to work flawlessly even under strict conditions for use with gloves, while gaining higher waterproofing resistance.
Two Different Size Options Are Offered
Apple continues to work on two different models of 6.3 inches and 6.9 inches. In particular, the larger model is expected to offer a 7-inch screen experience thanks to thinner frames. It is estimated that the aluminum case structure will continue to remain the most practical option to manage the heat created by artificial intelligence processes.
