Huawei plans to continue its large-screen smartphone design philosophy, which attracted attention with the Pura X series, with a new non-foldable model. The device, whose development process is progressing rapidly, is expected to be released in September, according to the latest information.

Previously expected to be released in the last quarter of the year, the launch date has been brought forward due to the completion of the development stages earlier than planned. This new initiative by Huawei offers a valuable alternative for users seeking a large-screen experience in standard form factor devices.

Technical Details and Screen Specifications

One of the most striking design elements of the new Huawei smartphone is its 16:10 screen ratio, similar to the Pura X model. On the hardware side, the device is expected to be powered by one of Huawei’s own Kirin 9 series chipsets.

It’s rumored that the battery, which directly affects users’ daily usage time, will offer a fairly impressive capacity. According to leaks, the device will be equipped with a battery of at least 7,000 mAh, promising a long-lasting user experience.

In terms of camera hardware, flagship-level performance is targeted. It is stated that the phone will feature a 50 MP main camera with a 1/1.3-inch sensor size, a 50 MP periscope telephoto lens, and a special multispectral camera setup on the back.

It is claimed that the device Oppo is working on will have a 6.3 to 6.4-inch screen and a 16:10 aspect ratio. Like the Huawei model, Oppo’s device is expected to feature a flagship-class processor and a triple rear camera system including a periscope telephoto lens.
