HONOR, which continues to grow in the Turkish smartphone market, has taken action for domestic production. The company will start smartphone production in Avcılar, Istanbul, in cooperation with Salcomp. Honor and Salcomp Collaboration

According to the information obtained, the production of some smartphones that HONOR will sell in Turkey will be carried out in Salcomp’s facility in Avcılar, Istanbul. Thus, HONOR will also join the brands that produce phones in Türkiye.

Salcomp has valuable experience in smartphone production in Türkiye. The company’s factory in Avcılar has previously been used in the production of phones of different technology brands.

HONOR’s investment in Türkiye comes after the brand accelerated its growth in the country in the recent period. The company is expanding its product range in the Turkish market, particularly with mid-range and high-end smartphones, as well as foldable models.

For now, a detailed timeline regarding which HONOR models will be produced in Turkey and exactly when production will begin has not been shared.
