Google Antigravity App Now Available on the Play Store

Google Antigravity App Now Available on the Play Store

Google Antigravity application has been released on the Play Store for managing autonomous spyware and developing applications on Googlebook OS.

The Google Antigravity app, part of a platform designed for developers to manage autonomous spyware, has been launched on the Play Store. This tool, which gained attention with version 2.0 announced at the May 2026 I/O event, now offers a dedicated experience for Googlebook devices.

The platform acts as a mission control center for directing and customizing autonomous spyware operating in the background. Previously available for macOS, Windows, and Linux, this development platform now offers a native interface for the Android-based Googlebook OS.

Google Antigravity and Googlebook Integration

The new application can directly interact with the Linux environment offered by Googlebook devices. This allows users to create and distribute applications directly from their devices.

The application’s package name is com.google.android.apps.antigravity. Currently available with version 2026.09.23.988012583, the software primarily focuses on the Googlebook OS platform.

While it is stated that the interface can work on tablets and foldable devices, it is not yet clear whether a special design has been made for smaller-screen phones. With this initiative, Google aims to make its new platform more attractive and functional for developers.

Whether the application, which has a similar interface structure to the desktop versions, will maintain the fast update cycle on other platforms will be seen in time. Developers can also benefit from the platform by installing Antigravity CLI through the Googlebook terminal.

Alternative Options for Developers

Googlebook users can also opt for Linux-based alternatives to the Antigravity application. These options include well-known developer tools such as Claude Code and Codex by OpenAI.

Google’s move is seen as part of its strategy to strengthen the platform’s developer ecosystem. Antigravity aims to provide a central point of control for professionals who want to work with autonomous spyware.

The application’s performance on Googlebook OS and its compatibility with other devices will become clearer in the coming period. How quickly Google will develop this platform and support it with new features is being closely watched by the developer community.

In your opinion, how will Google’s new developer platform change application development processes?
